My name is Alexander, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts but my undergrad was almost entirely History and Art History. Started drawing/drafting in 2020 during COVID lockdowns.

In my free time I draw, collect books, and sometimes read them.

"What the hell is Realm & Empire?"

I don't know. I made it as a setting for a TTRPG my friends and I played in my moms basement, that was 15 years ago. It's based around RTS/MMO gaming experiences from the early 2000s mixed with history and fantasy. Now it is the flagship worldbuilding project I work on so I never have a moment of art block or burnout. Just pull stuff from the strange writings of my youth.

"why XANDERARTCRAFT, and OKAYDRAWBOY?"

XANDERARTCRAFT: All of the usernames I wanted were taken, and it may be too late to turn back now. My name is Alexander and I do arts and crafts.
OKAYDRAWBOY: "Okay, drawboy!" (derogatory)
The intended usage was to have one main account to garner traction and support for my artwork, and another spam/backup for nonsense.

XANDERARTCRAFT

Accounts for doing business as (DBA) and are used for all public projects and public art posting. Art and business focus.

OKAYDRAWBOY

Accounts were intended to be spam and backup but often get more traction on social networking apps that encourage such behavior.

Socials

With an ever changing social networking landscape the quality and consistency of the different social app platforms varies greatly. I try to keep them all updated and attempt to respond to messages and comments but these apps are mostly to garner attention for my projects and artwork and not a reliable portfolio or way to contact me.

Community

I've set up a discord to post artwork and chat in between projects, if you need to speak to me directly this may be an easy option.

Website has depreciated rapidly, messaging and commenting are broken.

BlueSky

I do a lot of ranting and talk about videogames here, almost as much as I post art.

Instagram

I update my story and post reels regularly, but am otherwise inactive.

Tiktok

I spam video roulette and image carousels, otherwise business as usual.

Xiaohongshu

The greatest social media platform, clears all of the others. Thank you, China!

Threads

Like other META backed apps its almost unusable unless you're a business and paying to play.

Reddit

Other people get better traction posting my own art than I ever did, so kudos to them.

Behance

This would be the best art platform to post on if I actually used it.

Artstation

After the EPIC acquisition my account locked me out and I can't get back in. Epic...

Cara

Using it as a mirror for a portfolio became more work than was worth, depreciated.

Deviant Art

There are some ancient artworks here, but otherwise defunct website.
